∙ 12y agoFrom the personal experience of a heavy smoker of 20 years (20+ hand-rolled a day, if not 30+):
I started to feel better after 5 days-
Improved circulation meant I no longer had permanent cold and clammy feet.
My breathing improved, and I did not wake my self up in the early hours short of breath and making loud "wheezing" noises.
While not in a relationship, I suspect my sex life would also have improved, had there been the option.
