There are two rectangular buttons located at the back-left and back-right hand corners of your child's Dsi. One is marked with an L (with a picture of a camera next to it) and the other is marked with an R (with a picture of a camera next to it). You will notice that one of the buttons is permanently depressed from you child dropping your Dsi onto a hard surface. If you can pry the button out with a finger nail, all functioning will return to the photo album. Some games require the use of the buttons at the back of the Dsi. You can pay $85 to get it fixed, but you will have most of your Dsi's functionality restored if you can pry that broken button back out.

*actually found this on another website, we had the same problem with my daughter's DSi

How do you change the Nintendo DSi Menu wallpaper?

What you do is just go in your album and there is a sticker bar and put the star on your favorite pic. Then you go to your dsi menu and walla there it is. I know this because I have a dsi of my own. Enjoy;)

What is the differences between a DS lite and a DSI?

Infact there is a big difference! A DS lite has only got three things you can do on it. It can go on the game that you insert in it, it can go on a chat program called picto chat and it can go onto the settings of the system. But the DSI has more features. you can go to the settings, you can go on your game, you can go on the camera where you can take pictures, you can go on sound where you can record a noise for ten seconds and mess around with it, you can go on the internet (if you have wifi) and finally you can go on picto chat. P.S the DS lite, the DSI and the DSI XL take the same games
