Get a Abra or pikachu for it, you can get through without flash (what i always do) just always save before a battle. there is a hiker at some point that talks about himself teaching his Pokemon good moves, well he is a challenge as he has a strong level 24 geodude knowing selfdestruct. A pain if you only have 1 Pokemon. You just need a Pokemon that can use megahorndon't even think about going through rock tunnel without flash. You always get lost and can't find the exit or find the way that you came in. That is why I always have a Pokemon that knows flash or dig. most preferribly a Abra or diglett

Well, you need to capture atleast 10 Pokemon, go to the diglett tunnel in vermillion city then when you reach the end, get out of the diglett tunnel and go down, talk to everyone and one of them is an aide which will give you HMflash, you need to have a Pokemon who can use flash and you can use that to get outta rock tunnel.
