Customers complained if any worldwide title would not work in the PS3. Release of European PS3 model had to be with partial Software emulation further making less titles that worked perfectly. Everyone does not understand that games are only licensed for the PS2 and they can not make the Developer fix the games to work in the PS3. Some developer were merged or out of business and other did not want they games compatible and instead wanted to sell new games. Sony found it could not make a PS3 that could play all the PS2 titles even when they used the PS2 emotion engine. It's not just one problem or even only the ones mentioned.
