There really is no "Best Team". The best way to win repetitively is to have a well rounded team where you have at least one Pokemon that can counter any other type of Pokemon that is thrown at you. It is also good to have dual types because they have fewer weaknesses usually and can learn more moves. It is also valuable to make sure each of your team members knows different types of moves so that way it can single handedly handle a situation that might be hard for it if it only knew moves of its type. For instance, it is much better to have a fire type Pokemon that knows one or two fire type moves, a poison type move, and a steel type move then one that just knows fire type moves. This strategy usually holds true for all Pokemon games.
