Yeah, you´ll need to catch yourself a female Burmy. The only way to catch them is to put Honey on a yellow-coloured tree. Then when the tree wiggles you can check which Pokemon took the bait. It will take upto 24 hours for a tree to wiggle. After 24 hours, the Pokemon will be gone. The best thing to do is to put some honey on a tree right before you go to bed. Then, when you wake up in the morning you check the tree.
The best place for burmy is in the tree that stands North of Floaroma Town. Remember this though: a MALE burmy CANNOT evolve into wormadam, only females do.
