Where can you find Pineco in Pokemon Ruby version?
You cannot catch Pineco in Ruby or Sapphire legitimately. To get a Pineco, you need to trade it from Emerald, where you can catch it in the Safari Zone extension which is available after defeating the Elite Four. Pineco could also be caught in the Altering Cave in Emerald, FireRed, and LeafGreen through a special Mystery Gift event. However, this event was never released in any country, so the Altering Cave is an illegitate method of acquiring Pineco.
