You can catch a wild ditto in the trophy garden. Just speak with Mr.Backlot who will that a Pokemon ran up to him and kissed him on the cheek. The thing is, everyday he will say a different Pokemon ran up to him. He may say an Igglybuff kissed him today, but tomorrow it could be an eevee, or maybe even ditto.
You just have to go each day until he says a ditto can be found in his garden.
The Trophy Garden is located in the back of the Mansion on Route 212
