well you get to sunyshore by heading toward the mt. cornet from hearthome city. but i don't know the walkthrough to get through that sorry. BUT! when you get to the place where there are galactic guys your headed the right way. you keep going then soon you end up battling dialga or palika. then after you catch one of those you head to pastoria. you head east until you get to the mini beach. then youll see a little girl and boy. head north then youll see a house. go inside. then if you tried this before you head east until you see this man that WAS blocking your way. now hes gone. keep following that path and youll be in sunyshore city. hope this helped! What to do after you catched Palkia Pokemon pearl?
Exit Mt. Coronet and fly to Pastoria City. Then go east past Valor Lakefront and to Route 222. East of Route 222 is Sunyshore City. When you enter Sunyshore City for the first time, Flint of the Elite Four will come and ask you to help Volkner, the 8th gym leader, love battling again because Volkner have only battled weak trainers for a long time which bored him.Then go to the Vista Lighthouse at the Southeast part of Sunyshore City. Outside the Vista Lighthouse is a hidden item. After you talk to Volkner, go to the gym at the Northwest part of Sunyshore City. Then get to Volkner at the end of the gym and battle Volkner. He specializes in electric-types. His Pokémon will be Raichu, Ambipom, Octillery, and Luxray. Though Ambipom and Octillery aren't electric-types. They are normal- and water-types, respectively. After you beat Volkner, go to Jasmine at the north part of Sunyshore City and she will give you HM07, Waterfall, which you will need to get to the Pokémon League. She will not give you HM07 if you haven't beaten Volkner.

First, go to Sunyshore City. Then, an Elite Four member named Flint will come up to you and tell you about how the Gym Leader hasn't a very good battle in a long time. Flint will tell you to light a fire in his heart. Go to the Lighthouse (located in the Southeast part of Sunyshore City, accessible by the top pathways). You will see a spiky-haired blond guy looking through some binoculars (this is Volkner). Once you talk to him, he will then go back to the Gym (located on the northwest side of Sunyshore City, also on the top pathways). Go to the Gym. It has some challenging trainers who all use Electric-type Pokemon, who are weak to Ground-type moves. It takes a couple of minutes to figure the whole gym out. These trainers are some of the hardest in Sinnoh. Unfortunately, you cannot avoid any of the trainers. Ground-type Pokémon are recommended, but Water- and Flying-types are not. At the end, you will reach Volkner. Save the game and defeat him. It is very hard though because he has Octillery, which is a Water-type Pokémon. Now go to the small beach North of Sunyshore City and there you will find Jasmine, another Gym Leader from the Johto region. After she sees the Beacon Badge that you just received, she will hand you the HM07 containing the move Waterfall. This is the only way to access the Victory Road, along with Surf, and the Pokémon League, along with a number of other HM moves.
