Exit Mt. Coronet and fly to Pastoria City. Then go east past Valor Lakefront and to Route 222. East of Route 222 is Sunyshore City. When you enter Sunyshore City for the first time, Flint of the Elite Four will come and ask you to help Volkner, the 8th gym leader, love battling again because Volkner have only battled weak trainers for a long time which bored him.Then go to the Vista Lighthouse at the Southeast part of Sunyshore City. Outside the Vista Lighthouse is a hidden item. After you talk to Volkner, go to the gym at the Northwest part of Sunyshore City. Then get to Volkner at the end of the gym and battle Volkner. He specializes in electric-types. His Pokémon will be Raichu, Ambipom, Octillery, and Luxray. Though Ambipom and Octillery aren't electric-types. They are normal- and water-types, respectively. After you beat Volkner, go to Jasmine at the north part of Sunyshore City and she will give you HM07, Waterfall, which you will need to get to the Pokémon League. She will not give you HM07 if you haven't beaten Volkner.
