The egg was probably left in the PC for a long time and got a pkrs. It's like a virus for Pokemon's who are left in PC's for a long time.
I heard that bad eggs hatches into any Pokemon, except the pearl and diamond version.
But i dotn know if it's true or not. Try checking it out.
You should hatch your egg first once u get it.
