Yes, in fact he does. In the episode 241 (Hocus Pokemon), Ash is turned into a pikachu by Lily (A magician) towards the end of the episode. He remains that way until the start of episode 242...
...The spell was used to help people understand pokemon. However, Ash and Lily had no idea the spell would be THAT literal! XD
