You have to create the Down Town part of the Sims Double Deluxe. It doesn't cost any money though. Then you go dwon to Crysco Club I think its what that is called. Vampires love it down there. What are sims 2 vampires like?
In the Sims 2 nightlife, vampires go to community lots at night time. If your Sim becomes very good friends with a vampire then the vampire may bite them, if that happens your Sim will become a vampire, he/she will die if they go out in the day, will be able to annoy people by "bleh"ing at them, will be able to teleport and fly as a bat and will be able to bite people, turning them into vampires too. To cure a Sim of vampirism, call the matchmaker on the phone (phone>services>matchmaker) and when she arrives ask for Vamprocillin-D, then make your Sim drink it and they will be cured instantly and will return to being a normal Sim. To cure a different Sim of vampirism, have your Sim place the potion on the ground and using "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" make the vampire you which to cure selectable. Select them and make them drink the potion. Vampires are only available in Sims 2 nightlife and will only show up downtown. NPC vampires are often dressed oddly and their name will start with Count/Countess. The vampires look different as well. Fangs, of course, and paler skin, and evil-looking eyes. They need a coffin to sleep in, too, and a night job is best.

as in weird things? vampires, aliens, plant people, zombies and werewolves (: all of which are cureable except zombie-ism (vampires and plant people with potions from the matchmaker lady and aliens and werewolves if you cheat and turn your sim to a vampire first.) vampires become vampires by being bit by vampires obviously. theres a few at the 'Crypt-O-Nite' nightclub with the nightlife expansion pack. werewolf sims must be bitten by a werewolf (dog with yellow eyes that turns up late at night if you have the pets expansion and your sim has a pet.) alien sims must be abducted and will return as an alien most of the time from stargazing through a telescope at night. you have to do this a LOT for an abduction... aliens can also be born through an 'alien pregnancy' plant people are just super mad gardeners who join the gardening club and get the 'green thumb' award (: (freetime) zombies cant be cured.
