u've either accidently put a cheat in (as making adults go to school has multiple cheats) or they aren't actually adults!

You get the parent or the child if they are a teenager or you get the students to walk to school, which you can only do (I think) if you have the Apartment Life expansion pack for the normal Sims 2 game, not the stories one.

i've never had that problem. i have had problems with kids in apartments not in my active family not going to school. but did you know that in apartment life, if it won't come, you can click on your child/teen and have them walk to school? try that out.
