I assume you are talking about Skylanders. The game comes with instructions that tell you how, but I will tell you anyway. Once you have the batteries put into the portal, unplug the USB from the portal and put it into the back of your game system. Then press the little black button on the inside of the portal and the black button on the USB. Next, screw the battery compartment shut and press the power button on the outside of the portal. You may need to press and hold, but the LED lights on the portal will flash and turn on and you can now start the game.

yes, if you use a USB drive i'm not entirely sure how to get the full minecraft on your USB (look on YouTube) but you go into minecraft folder and click "world" and you can make a copy of your minecraft world and put it on your USB drive if you wanna play the world you played on your main computer
