Well, isn't that a happy little question! A PS3 controller is made up of various minerals, such as plastic, silicon, copper, and aluminum. Each mineral plays a special role in creating a smooth and enjoyable gaming experience for you to enjoy. Just like painting a beautiful landscape, it's all about blending these minerals together to create something truly wonderful.
To set up a sixaxis controller on your PS3 for the first time, plug it in with the charge cable. Then press the PS button and wait until the controller connects. Your controller will now be set up to work with your PS3.
Ur GermX, wash ur hands and the controller won't get GermX Minerals are from places that u touch and then it will get to the controller! WASH UR HANDS DON'T BE NASTY!
Usually if you plug the usb cable (controller charger cable) into the ps3 console and the ps3 wireless controller it will sync the controller with the console. I had this problem when I went to a friends house and brought my extra controllers. The Controllers just set there and blinked till I plugged it into his usb cable that hooked up to his ps3 console. Hope this helps

No it is not possible to hook up a PS2 controller to a PS3 without an converter. The PS3 was never designed to use PS2 controllers, and even with a converter the controller will not feature all of the functions of the PS3 controller. It may be possible to rig a PS2 controller to work without a bulky converter, but you would have to build it yourself.
you plug a dongle into your ps3
You can have up to seven Bluetooth controller devices on a PS3
