Best means different things to different people. Technologically the Wii is not as capable as the Xbox 360 and PS3. The Wii U when it comes out could make up for many shortcomings of the Wii. Wii was designed to not be as capable and able to sell for less, but improvements and cost and price reductions to the PS3 make it a much better purchase for the money than when it was released.

Well let us look at the facts.

Wii has sold over 90 million consoles as of Sept. 2011 actually only 89 million by the end of September 2011

Xbox 360 has sold over 57 million consoles as of Sept. 2011

PS3 has sold over 51 million as of Sept. 2011 actually it was more more and 63.9 million by March 31 2012

Wii wins in this category.

Wii has larger variety of games, but a majority are child or family games were made ever since 2009. Before that they were awesome!

Xbox 360 has mostly shooters and RPG's.

PS3 has mostly shooters and racing games.

Again the Wii wins.

Depite the FACT that graphics don't matter...

Wii has worst graphics out of the 3, but still decent.

Xbox 360 has best graphics of the 3.

PS3 has same exact graphics as Xbox 360 PLUS HD.

Wii is most original and never copies from others. Very much in dispute

Xbox 360 survives because of copying.

PS3 only copies when it really needs too.

Wii, for a third time, wins.

Wii has good controls.

Wii has free online, but it sucks with all but 4 or 5 games.

Xbox 360, you must pay $50 every 13 months, which is OK.

Well I think its pretty obvious who wins here. ALL OF THEM WIN. They are all great consoles. But I would have to recommend the Wii.
