No their isn't a re battle code for Shaymin I guess your hopes are gone but here's some advice when you battle legendary Pokemon you should save you game right in front of the Pokemon before you battle them that way you don't have to try to battle a legendary Pokemon and then accidentally kill it then you will have the chance to catch it again and maybe this time you will catch the Pokemon you wanted to catch thanks man- josheyman123 though what about pokesav??

WARNING: If don't catch him the first time you battle him...when you turn off the game and turn it back on you'll still be in front of Arceus but the first time you battle him wouldn't count so I'd try to catch him on my first time...ut remember if you save it in front of him before you battle it you have plenty more chances of catching it!

To get the gresious orb i pokemon platinum you have to go back into the distortion world. to get to the distortion world the second time go back to the spring path and into turn back cave. You have to see 3 pillars with only going through 30 rooms. Then if you did not catch giratina the first time he will also be there and you will have to battle him. The distortion world the second time through is sj=horter and is a one way path so it will be very easy to get the gresious orb it will be in a pokeball on the ground. When you give it ti giratina he will change into his sky form like with shaymin and the gracideas.

Yes. You can. After you finish Sky Peak the first time, if you go there again, Shaymin joins your team.

You have to have the Movie Shaymin. If you recived a Shaymin via Oak's Letter (If tried it) it won't work. There is a code for action replay that'll give you the movie Shaymin, or if you don't ask the people on gamefaqs and sometimes they'll give you one. Hope that clarifies. The Shaymin I received was Japanese, maybe the Japanese Shaymin via Oak's Letter will work. But the one I received was from the movie.
