To get the gresious orb i pokemon platinum you have to go back into the distortion world. to get to the distortion world the second time go back to the spring path and into turn back cave. You have to see 3 pillars with only going through 30 rooms. Then if you did not catch giratina the first time he will also be there and you will have to battle him. The distortion world the second time through is sj=horter and is a one way path so it will be very easy to get the gresious orb it will be in a pokeball on the ground. When you give it ti giratina he will change into his sky form like with shaymin and the gracideas.
