I run at 115.2kbps, 75%of the time it works great for heavy gaming but its a 3G modem so it is hard to keep a signal ware I live but 115kbps and up is grate for gaming even high pace first person shooter. If this is a wired connection you should be grate. (Platform: PS3 Game: TFWFC). needing at least 1mb or more of speed is BS.
This varies based on the game, but generally the minimum is 56Kb/s Dialup, however this is generally very laggey and i would recommend Broadband, or some kind of high-speed internet.
usually 100mbps is the recommended for an online game. I'm going to go ahead and say it depends on your game. 100mbps is certainly incorrect, unless that was supposed to be the speed of your network card. A T3 line, which is $6000 to $12000 per month, can hit 45mbps For a game such as World of Warcraft, I played that over uncompressed dial-up. A game such as FFXIV which requires a lot of downloaded information you may need a 10mbps connection for it to be very fast, but it would most likely run well on a 1.5mbps DSL link.
You can't speed because endless online has been shut down.
Broadband
It depends on the speed of your internet connection and the speed and memory of your computer.
yup
The minimum modem speed required for basic internet browsing is 56 Kbps (kilobits per second). However, for streaming video, online gaming, or high-speed downloads, a speed of at least 25 Mbps (megabits per second) is recommended to ensure a smooth internet experience.
A faster internet speed means you can upload and download information faster. If you are only reading occasional emails or news stories it shouldn't make much of a difference. If you are watching music videos, online TV shows, online gaming and such, then you may need a faster internet speed.
PS3 hogs up the use of the router.. I have not found a fix for it yet but i currently have a linksys and with my ps3 on and running online. The Rest of my computers internet speed slows down in the house.
You can install a razor booster from razorblade.com that will increase gaming speed. If you want to increase internet speed or download speed, that depends on your router.
No. At most you can connect and download, but no xbox live. I have tried everything I could think of and it just drops when going live.
If you are referring to the internet that DISH Network offers which is known as, "Wildblue," it would not be recommended because it does not provide sufficient speed for things such as online gaming or for the PlayStation Network.
yes it works perfectly
Satellite Internet service is not recommended for online gaming especially first-person shooter type games. Satellite Internet always has a latency (delay) time of approximately half a second and you will never be able to win a competition against an opponent on a regular Internet connection.
512 kbps good for watching cricket without buffring.............
Call or search online for IVC Telecom and ask for internet services.
