Really, it matters how the creator creates it. Lets take spikes for example. I have two pairs of spikes. Both pairs look pretty much the same, but are made by different creators. The first pair has very low KB's, but the second pair has so high KB's I can't wear them. Look out for sparkles, animations, pets, etc... those things usually have high KB's

Sometimes it's because a person/room has a lot of kbs and then you start lagging so then you crash, and sometimes it's a glitch and sometimes it can be a product making you crash.
Do more clothes you wear, the more KB u have. So if u have allot of useless clothes u can remove them and lower u KB in that way
KB is the amount of kilobytes your avatar is at. You can find out it's size by hovering over your id in a chat room. Your id is found in the scrolling id bar at the bottom edge of each chat room. The more items you have on the higher your kb will be. Hair, and voice boxes are usually very high in kbs. xD
Ap on Imvu , stands for Action Pass. Actions Pass are used for buying or seeing or even making items in/for the IMVU catalogs, Users under 8+ will not see any of these items until they are 8+ and have bought the Action Pass. Action passes also include 15,000 credits sometimes.
