First download Visual Boy Advance for mac,( it will let you play the game) then type in Pokemon Emerald Rom in google, and download it from coolrom.com
Nope.
i have a mac too all the controls are the same as any windows computer (w,a,s,d for moving, space for jumping, f for render distance) EXECP for things like f3 and other fnumbers the mac cant use those.
If mac has "f keys, press f8/f7. If mac doesn't have "f keys", keybind the control for the admin orb thing to something else in Options>Controls
Open up VBA, go to Options at the top, then Click on Joypad, then Configure, then "1." You should see the current controls, and you can change them if you want. ANOTHER ISSUE FOR ME! I can seem to use the Start Button. I'm using a Pokemon Ruby ROM for the Mac, and i cant use enter or return for the start button. i tried to configure the keys but it just gave me a menu i couldent get out of with things like 'a = 268' or something like that. how can i get the Start Button to work on Mac VBA Pokemon Ruby? I do not know if this will help you or not, but I am playing Pokemon Emerald. I have pressed any button that might work, but I just could not get it. When you mentioned that you cannot get the enter or return key to work for you, I switched my start key to the E key. I have finally opened the menu, and can access the bag. In shot, maybe making the start key something other than the enter key might help. Good luck.
No advance text Pokémon does not run on Mac. Visual Boy advance and Mac Boy advance are good emulators for Mac.
coco nuts
For windows (coolroms.com) for mac search Mac boy advance
this may not be so useful, but try doing it on windows, not mac.
First download Visual Boy Advance for mac,( it will let you play the game) then type in Pokemon Emerald Rom in google, and download it from coolrom.com
No because the Dolphin Emulator is for Gamecube and Wii games. With a hacked Wii/Gamecube you can load up a homebrew emulator which is the VBAGX which is essentially no different than the Visual Boy Advance emulator for PC/Mac. If you want to load GBA roms download the Visual Boy Advance emulator.
If u r on windows download the latest version (1.7.3). On mac the normal one will work unless u have Oxs Lion the search and download Mac Boy Advance
no there isn't sorry hope i helped ya out!
you cant zoom in not that i know of but specially for mac there is a mouse shortcut where you can zoom in the screen by holding alt and with two fingers swipe up or down do it as many times as you want you can zoom in quite a lot ps if you dont have a laptop and have a keyboard and mouse go into system preferences and go into universal settings hop i helped
No, Microsoft ActiveX controls cannot run on Mac OS X.
I do not have an answer but I am also interested in step by step instructions on how to put gameshark cheats into the box. Is it one line per field or one entire code in a field? I have tried it many ways and I still cannot get it to work. I am using VBA 1.7.4 on Mac OSX trying to play Pokemon Silver. Mac_Man edit: It's very easy using GameShark codes for Visual Boy Advance for Mac. I have made a very detailed YouTube video on how to enter GameShark codes on mac, and shown a working example. Check out my video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mbvptik5_B0 Enjoy! PS: I have also embedded a download link for Pokemon RUBY codes for getting any Pokemon you want in any Pokemon game! =) EDIT: I've moved the video. You can watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXikE6Iql5Q
You can press ESC. Then go to options, controls, and then change them there.
