in Pokemon crystal the best Pokemon to have are feraligator(evolved form of totodile), weepinbell, kadabra, ledian (i would advise you to this Pokemon ice punch and headbutt), and pidgeot. these are the Pokemon i beat the elite four with
The best place to train typhlosion is Route 26 in The Kanto regoin.
I would say for a starter choice the best Pokemon to have is totodile. When you get more into the Pokemon league and stuff like that in kanto, you can catch mewtwo from cerulean city in the cave and it is level 70. If you train it to learn thunder, flamethrower and blizzard, it is unstoppably the best Pokemon. If you find any other water type moves then that would be helpful to teach it. i say there is no "best" because it dosent matter like i said before is any Pokemon can be the best no matter what... its a opinion that i think my cynda (typhlosion) lv 100 is the best but that's because shes my best Pokemon friend ive had... but that's just me...

My favourite team for crystal was; Typhlosion, Suicune, Raikou, Togetic, Lugia and Ho-Oh. Hope this helps!
Only if you have the best moves and great power.
Lugia because it knows water moves and ho oh dont and they are the ultimates of crystal.
i tryed the same pokemon its really hard your best chance of beating here level up a dragon pokemon with good dragon moves - such as shiny gyardos - until its at least 15 levels higher then her best pokemon thats the only way i beat her and my typhlosion was level 100.
Typhlosion and Lugia
Cyndaquil, the original form of your Typhlosion, can only be obtained in a few games. In Gold, Silver, and Crystal, Cyndaquil is a starter pokemon, and is only available if you choose it as a starter. In Emerald, Cyndaquil is a reward for completing the Hoenn Pokedex. And in HeartGold and SoulSilver, Cyndaquil is a starter pokemon as well. And so, after you find a Cyndaquil, evolve it into a Quilava at Level 14, and then into a Typhlosion at Level 36.Best of luck.- Spiffi :3
No, but it is a good starter Pokémon.
I would have to say a really good team would be: Typhlosion Dragonite Lapras Alakazam Umbreon Gyrados It may have weakness' but if you teach the pokemon the right moves than you can be unstoppable.
typhlosion is the best because of eruption sunny day solar beam and focus blast I'm a different guy and I think charizard is best then typhlosion then infernape then blaziken. emboar sucks out loud
typhlosion is a fire Pokemon his weaknesses are ground rock and water he is an OK Pokemon but out of the heart gold and soul silver players id recommend chicorita because he has really powerful moves and he ca beat his weaknesses usually hi im a diffrent persone than the one above... anyways my typhlosion is a lv 100 and it shines as no other ive seen. any Pokemon can be the best if it is owned by a trainer who loves and cares for them. even a magicarp a seedot any Pokemon can shine in beauty if someone loves it....~michaela & cynda

I would say fire blast, flamethrower, lava plume and blastburn. Although I think he can only learn blastburn in leafgreen because you already learn it from a lady. You need to take advantage of Typhlosion's Speed and Special Attack abilities. Fire Blast with 10 PP, Sunny Day, Earthquake and Thunderpunch to counter his weakness's. Make sure it has a Magnet.I would recommend to transport your Pokemon into heartgold/soulsilver and you could go to the move tutor and ask him for a special move (blast burn).Usually, Typhlosion is a good Pokemon with any move as long as you train it well.Hope it helps!!!
