It does. It should work with a lot of other mods as well.
Try a mod. You could use InvEdit or SPC (Single Player Commands).
There is a version that makes spc works with smart movement mod. (See related link below for more information.)
It is not possible to actually make a mob spawner in any version of Minecraft. Mob spawners are only obtainable via in-game commands or if you use a mod of some sort.
u can download commands maker :)
There isn't EXACTLY the best RSPS out there, I would suggest looking at status pages to find some RSPS to be apart of.

There are many RSPS's. The true best rsps is http://www.dpkzweb.tk/
You get a mod, such a Single Player Commands.
RSPS isn't a company, RSPS stands for Runescape Private Servers which in return is a rip of RuneScape (Jagex Ltd.).
Either it enhances the experience like the aether or mo'creatures mod,or cheats it like too many items mod and singleplayer commands.

There is a server but its not fully made yet. (probably it did)
Yeah for a mod that spawns animals anywhere try SPC (Single Player Commands).
Apparently the mod room has no code. At least, that's what Hammy (a mod) said in CPYS. I tried commands like !modroom and !mod which got me no where... But good luck with trying to find it!
There are no cheat codes in Garry's mod as it already contains a sandbox mod where you can fly around and spawn props. But I know there are some commands you can insert into the command console. Such as sm_cheats_1 which enables third person so If I were you do a little poking around to find some stuff like that.
