I know of these four which I have tried myself.
1. Missingno/infinite items/wild Pokemon over lv.100
Talk to the man who shows you how to catch Pokemon in Viridian city. Answer no, and as soon as he has finished speaking fly to Cinnabar Island. Surf up and down the right hand side of the island, right on the shore. You will encounter Pokemon over level 100 and a glitched Pokemon called Missingno or M. The former, if used in a battle other than a link battle, will 'grow' to lv.100.
The latter can affect your hall of fame, graphics, etc. It will evolve into a Kangaskhan if it levels up.
On encountering Missingno/M the item in the 6th slot in your bag (hint- put a master ball/rare candy there) will duplicate, providing you with over 100. This glitch can be used again and again if you run out, giving you an infinite supply.
2. Catch Mew
When you reach Cerulean city go to the Pokemon center, do not fight the trainer past nugget bridge (he has a lv.17 slowpoke and is facing north, standing above a female trainer) but fight the others so they won't get in the way. Do not fight the man west of nugget bridge either.
Catch an Abra with teleport (best to have a Pokemon with sing to make this easier).
Save your game (you won't be able to until the next part is completed).
~Now, cross nugget bridge and head west. Stand just above the trainer's line of sight (so that a step down will bring him onto the screen and cause him to challenge you).
Step down and simultaneously press start, then use teleport. He should see you just after you teleport away.
Head back and fight the trainer with the slowpoke (without facing any others on the way). He must walk up to you or the game will freeze.
Use teleport one more time. Your start menu will be disabled. Then walk back up. As you start to cross the bridge the start menu will pop up by itself. Press B and you will enter a battle with a lv.7 Mew.~
Catch it. (If you faint/ run out of balls, you will have to reset and repeat the part in ~s.)
This works with some other trainers too and the move fly instead of teleport, but this way you can get Mew on your first visit to Cerulean.
3. Glitched city
Go to exit the Safari zone and answer 'no' when asked if you want to leave. Save, exit the zone and reset.
This time, when you attempt to leave, the man will ask if you want to enter. Say 'no' and leave the building. Walk around until you have used up steps as you would in the safari zone and you will be called back.
When you leave the building this time you will be in a glitched area. The terrain will be odd (you can sometimes walk over/surf on buildings, etc.) and it is possible to become trapped, though you can just fly out. If you fly to any location the game will go back to normal. The game will sometimes freeze in glitch city and you will need to reset.
4. Catch Safari zone Pokemon outside Safari zone
Exit the Safari zone, then fly to Cinnabar Island and surf on the edge of the island (same place as the Missingno glitch). Safari zone Pokemon will appear. They will not run away, can be caught with ordinary balls (instead of having to use safari balls) and can be battled with using your own Pokemon, allowing you to catch rare Pokemon such as Scyther and Kangaskhan more easily.
i know of bad egg and missingno
You can catch different Pokemon depending on the game -------- You can also catch Gen2 and Gen3 Pokemon, and the glitches are for the most part removed.
Yes, you can. A game ROM is a copy of the original game, so all glitches and cheats works on ROMs. See the related question if you want to know how to get it.
Any glitches the game had have been sorted by updates of the game.
you cant catch missingno but you can send it from red and blue I'm pretty sure but it wil turn into a ditto i think you can also catch glitches on Pokemon crystal.
Yes.
All of the pokemon games have glitches in. Although you will notice that the older the games get the higher the amount of glitches there will be.
All games have hidden glitches somewhere, however, Pokemon has come a long way since the badly glitchy days of Pokemon Red and Blue, so any glitches in Black and White will probably be small and minor.
The Missingno/Mew glitches are not in Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green.
yes there are many glitches most of them are in blue and red aswell
There is a cloning glitch in emerald.
no. none at all.
0. Nintendo fixed all of them.
