There are two Pokemon that evolve using a thunderstone in Pokemon platinum.
Pikachu (the evolved form of pichu) can evolve into Raichu. Also, Eevee can evolve into Jolteon.

You can find Pichu's/pikachu's in Mr. Backalot's garden and you get Eevee as a gift in the game from one of the characters in one of the cities. Sorry, I don't remember which one right now, but I think it might be Veilstone.
