liedetector2000: i think a destiny weapon is better than doom weapon because there are 80 percent more dark creatures than light creatures, but a crucial information you must take in is it is highly recommended you finish all the quests in the sandsea. there is 1 major boss that it's nature is light you should finish. (the destiny weapon will also have that 'engulfed in doom' thing but will say 'engulfed with destiny' with a bright light. it's exactly the same as a doom weapon with the same bonuses and stats). However, these weapons are immensely expensive so I recommend doing the Crystal Clear Lake quest and selling the weapons you receive at the end.

you have to buy a doom weapon and then you go to artix and click purify doom weapon and he will give you a destiny version of whatever doom weapon you have for ten undead slayer badges. to upgrade to higher level click upgrade destiny weapon(you need ten more undead slayer badges, but that's it). artix is in doomwood by Valencia. (need to be done all artix quests except for last (and be at least level 8) to get destiny weagon upgraded or doom weapon purified) i am level 24 so i have the best upgrade of the destiny weapon :)

Once you have bought this, you see Artix in The Necropolis. You look down the screen and click on "Purify Doom Weapon". It should tell you what you need to do this and how to get what you need.
