Um, it will entirely remove it from your computer .... so I guess if you consider that "hurting" it then yes ...
you have to uninstall the game and then reinstall it
I'd just re-install the game.
Restart your computer or reinstall it. it could be a glitch or its a game problem that needs to be reinstalled
i do not have the game, but if you go to options or settings and your save file, just delete the saved file and you can restart all over
Well, if you are able to run the game in the first place before uninstalling that expansion pack means that your computer meets the requirements to play the game. However, uninstalling a expansion pack will reduce the amount of lag.
only if you restart the game
I ususally just Restart my computer and restart the game.. it works after that.

You need to restart the game silly :)
When My sims ends your game would carry on just as normal , unless you want to restart the whole thing !
you have to uninstall the game and then reinstall it
go to neighborhood mode, make sure the button on the screen is set to family, click move family, then click on the house your sims live in currently.
Either wait or open your task manager and restart it.
I'd just re-install the game.
1) go to control panel 2) select "uninstall a program" under Programs 3) find sims 2 best of business 4) click on it, then click uninstall
If you mean to play the game without the base game, the answer is no. You must have the base game to play.
