No, there is not. Once you have earned a Gym Badge, you cannot get rid of it, unless you restart the entire game. However, if you restart the game you will lose all of your data and progress, not just your Gym Badges.

Tell me about it! I agree completely. In Pokemon Emerald, you could fight the gym leaders over and over again, but since you can't do that in any other Pokemon game, it's hard to find strong or exiting characters to battle.
