Def, I can prove that wrong right away. If you teach Salamence Ice Fang, since it has a higher Attack, it could OHKO Dragonite. Dragonite has a higher variety of moves, but that means no 150% type advantage thing. Dragonite also has a lower Speed and HP, which means Salamence can get the first strike. In events, Dragonite is always holding a Yache Berry, which lessens Ice-type damage. That is a sign of weakness!! Salamence also has a high Sp. Atk, which means you can, with an Ice-type move, OHKO Dragonite in the first turn without even getting a scratch!
