In Pokemon Platinum how do you get to the resort area?

first u got to go to fight area and there is a lake if u go that way >>>> if theres 2 people there u will have to get to the survival area most probaly the to do that u will have to get the national pokedex to get that u will have to complete the sinnoh pokedex i havent done that yet so if im wrong plaease coment

you have to beat the game first than go to snowpoint city and go talk to the guy with the boat and cynthia should come outa nowhere after that he asks u would u like to go to the men men fight area say yes and he will take you there. do the double battle with barry and u vs flint and gooch volkner than get a men pokemon with surf and go to the right side cale finlay of the battle area and surf to the reort area oooorrrrrrr go up from the battle area and go all the way up than make ur way through the desort. go down and you'll be there!! sry this is so long or you can get out your orifice and let it protrude
