What is tree is better and faster for exp a willow or yew?

Cutting willow trees in Free to play is better experience because they chop incredibly fast and there are less bots at willow trees because they are less profitable. I recommend you cut willows until level 85 woodcutting then move onto yew trees. If you are a member than cut maple trees around Seers' Village, they chop a bit slower than willow trees but there are much less bots and there are quite a heap of them to the north-west.

Runescape does armor affect woodcutting ability?

No, armour does not affect woodcutting, only the hatchet you use, the tree you chop, and your woodcutting level affecct the results of woodcutting. Unless, of course, you are wearing or using special amulets, etc. However,I have not yet found an amulet of woodcutting.

Where is the best place to get 99 woodcutting?

Willows in free-to-play. if you want to make a little cash go onto yews at around 95. In pay-to-play its got to be power chopping teaks in the tai bwano(sp?) village. Edit by Engl1sh: This can be a matter of personal opinion. My Woodcutting level is only level 80, however I am a member and I find the best place to be is up at the Barbarian Outpost (mini-game for Barbarian Assault) cutting Willow logs. This will not make you much money but will gain you faster experience per hour. You could also chop Maple trees, however the ones closest to the bank are usually too crouded to be comfortable. Investing in a Dragon Axe would be well worth your time, and then heading off to the Outpost as I said before would be your best bet if you're a member. A non-member would most likely want to chop (with a Rune Axe of course) the Willow logs in Draynor Village. This is probably the fastest experience you can get in F2P.
