First you must decide just what is a TV game show, then how broad of TV viewers do you use to make a count of shows for example worldwide, broadcast, cable, closed circuit. Are sporting events also Game Shows and where is the line drawn because some game shows are also sporting events. Then how many times do you count Wheel of Fortune, it is clearly a different show when they have a different Host and hostess and speak a different language. Do you count pilots that aired to only a limited viewing audience. There have been thousands of different shows over the years and the number would be out of date soon after it was determined, if not while someone was trying to accurately calculate your answer. I'm not sure a person could accurately decide how many a network had in the current lineup without someone claiming a show is or isn't a game show. Then since different people are on shows with the same title a point could be made that each episode is really a different game show. Or at least each season in some reality based game shows.
