It takes a long time but, you can get baby Pokemon from the Day Care people. Take about an hour to wait. :( IMPROVED answer: You need an egg group Pokemon example: two POOCHYENAS one male one female (doesn't matter about level). Wait about and hour and there you go!
a week

You can't send the Pokemon directly from Pokemon Emerald to Pokemon Heart Gold but you can migrate your Pokemon from Emerald to Pokemon Pearl, Platinum, Diamond and then trade it to your game Pokemon Heart Gold as long as you have a friend with a DS(Dsi)
you bring out this long cord and plug it in to the game boy
when i bought Pokemon emerald i bought it at about $36.00-$39.00 but its been out for a long time so it may b cheaper:)
1 step is 1 experience so how ever much experience it takes
I played emerald a long time ago but wherever you are go to the place with the next gym and battle all the trainers on the way don't hide or sneak away from them. If you have the exp share and stronger Pokemon put the exp share on the Pokemon you want to train or put it in the day care but careful they might delete some of its moves
