slow depending on signal but you couldn't just plug it in and expect it to work with the ps3 software. instead you would need to get a wifi adaptor or an wifi integrated dongle

Does the PS3 upscale DVDs?
Yes it does a very good job and the TV shows that I record on my Media Center Computer play much better on the PS3 than they ever did on the Sony DVD/VCR. I also like the ability to fast forward past the commercials with the PS3. Rental DVDs of movies also seem to play clearer in the PS3 than in the Sony DVD/VCR player I used to use.
