How do you to Giovanni in Silph Co?

Once you are at the Silph Company headquarters in Saffron City, the first step is to find the Card Key, which will allow you access the part of the building where the board room is. The Card Key is on the 5th floor. The doors to open with it are on the 3rd floor, in the center left. The warp tile to the far left takes you to a room with another warp tile, and that one takes you to the board room. First you have to battle your rival, and get a Lapras, and then you take the warp tile to the board room, where you battle Giovanni.

THE EASY WAY:

Go to the 3rd floor. Once there, walk a couple steps down and away from the ELEVATOR until a Grunt battles you. After you beat him, open the steel door to your LEFT and go onto the portal platform. Once there you'll see 2 guys. Walk in front of the first one. That's your Rival, Matt. He'll challenge you to a battle. Once you've beaten Matt, TALK TO THE OTHER GUY!!!! HE WILL GIVE YOU LAPRAS!!! Lapras is a very good Pokèmon. After you have Lapras, go onto the other portal platform. Go down the hallway, battle the guy, and the rest is pretty self explanitory.

THE PREFERRED WAY:

Go to the 9th floor of the Silph Co. building. go all the way to the left and then down into a hallway. Battle the guy at the bottom and then open both steel doors to the left. If your Pokèmon are in need of a Pokècenter. Talk to the girl in the red. Next, go up into a small room and open the steel door on your left. Battle the guy and then follow the hallway until you hit a portal platform. Go on it. This will take you to a room with a scientist. You can either battle him or sneak past him. Once you've done that open the steel door to the right and onto the nearest portal platform. Once there you'll see 2 guys. Walk in front of the first one. That's your Rival, Matt. He'll challenge you to a battle. Once you've beaten Matt, TALK TO THE OTHER GUY!!!! HE WILL GIVE YOU LAPRAS!!! Lapras is a very good Pokèmon. After you have Lapras, go onto the other portal platform. Go down the hallway, battle the guy, and the rest is pretty self explanitory. This way is the preferred way because after you beat all of the Grunts and other trainers, you can go back to the girl in the red who will heal your Pokèmon.
