First click the statue. Next open the southwest sea chart. Then simply comes the DS and the crest is tranfered to your map. Make sure u get the salvage crane cause the crest will lead u in the middle of the ocean. Use the crane to pick up the chest.

You don't get a sea chart with a sacred crest. but i will tell you similar things that might help you; in the ocean king temple there is a sign that says put the 2 carts together or whatever. here's the secret everyone's wondering-- when it says press them together, CLOSE THE DS. when you open it, it will show the crest. go out to sea and use your salvage arm (if you don't have one, get em' at cannon island.) Gess whats in the chest? the Sun key. use it at molida island, and your all set.
