Ok, before you start watering the plants, you need to get the whole quilt. Once you ship at least 1,000g worth of items Hamilton will talk to you about it. Once you ship some more, he will talk to you again and then he will give you the left half. Then you go over and talk to Gill (the mayor's son) about the harvest sprites. To get the right half, you talk to Dale (the carpenter) and he will tell you about the broken clock tower in the town square. After that, you talk to Hamilton and you ask him about the clock tower. Then you offer to fix it and he will give you the key. You go over to the clock tower in the Town Square and open it up. Inside you find the right half of the quilt and a note from Alan ( I think ). Then you take your watering can and water the flowers under the certain trees.

1. First, make sure the root blocking the way into Ganache Mine District has been cut. It can be cut by talking to Gill, then talking to Dale the carpenter. One of the carpenters' apprentices will then cut the root. 2. Go back to Gill again. You will receive the left side of the quilt from Gill. Or you can wiat until the flea market on the 22 of spring and the mayor will give it to you then. 3. Then talk to Dale the carpenter(go behind the counter). He will tell you his dissapointment with having the root cut and then tell you about how the island hasn't been the same since the Mother Tree died, including the broken clock tower, which he finds suspicious. 4. Go talk to the mayor and agree to fix the clocktower. He will give you the key to the clocktower. 5. Go to the clock tower with the key in hand, press A, and that's it. You've found the right side of the quilt.

Its at the town hal if your not sure. Open it up and the second half of the map is in there. Good luck and remember to give te key back to Hamilton.

-To get the first half, you can get it from Gill (which I don't do myself sorry), or from Hamilton. To get the left half from Hamilton, he needs to tell you about the poem, the on the day of the Flower festival in Spring he'll tell you he found it and give it to you. -Then for the right half you need to talk to Gill, but he wont tell you anything until you get an upgrade on your house. Once you get the upgrade go back and talk to Gill. He'll tell you his story (not going to spoil it). He doesn't no what happen to the other half, but he says Dale might know. -Go talk to Dale and he'll tell you about the Mother Tree and about the clock tower, which has stopped working and he's think that it might have something to do about the tree. -After that go talk to Hamilton, and ask him if you can fix the clock tower in Waffle Square, then he'll give you the key! Go to the clock tower while holding the key and use it. You'll have the story line with the tower, and find the right half! :D
