If you are playing Diamond, you can find the adamant orb at the spear pillar. (where you found Dialga) And if you're playing Pearl, you can also find the lustrous orb at the spear pillar. (where you found Palkia)
But, you can't find the lustrous orb in Diamond. And you can't find the adamant orb in Pearl.

Coronet and arrive in a snowy area (like you were going to go to spear pillar), go left (the only way to go at this point :) ) and go north (not up the steps) when the path turns. Head all the way north and rock climb up. Instead of going left (towards Spear Pillar), reenter Mt Coronet on the right. Go up the waterfall and you should see the orbs.

Actually, you don't go to any cave. After catching Dialga/Palkia, exit the sphere pillar, then go in again. Run past where Dialga/Palkia was, and you'll see a pokeball. That's the Adamant/Lustrous orb. You cannot get both orbs unless you trade with a Pokemon holding it or hack.

you can only get them when you beat the sinnoh dex i accedentily sold the orbs the same day i found out you need them to battle dialga and palkia. p.s. that rock in there, the front of it holds a stone plate.

I'm sorry, :( you can onlt get the adamant orb (for dialga) in diamond a platinum. You are stuck with the lustrous orb (for palkia). Although the lustrous orb is obtainable in platinum aswell! So is the griseous orb (for giratina) which allows giratina to appear in it's origin forme outside of distortion world and it strenghthen giritina, ( as do all the other orbs. So sorry you can't.
