If you obtain in the cave and give him four of each Shoal Salt and Shoal Shells, he will give you a "Shell Bell", and thoes items are renewed every time you leave the cave. You can easily obtain Shoal Salt around the cave, but I have not yet assotained Shoal Shells, I think they are thoes light blue rocks you see on the higher levels of the cave, but I havn't had the ability to get them.

the shove cave above the 7th gym can reach by surf....then enter the cave and an old man there that ask u to bring all the shoal shell and salt to him to make a shell bell....all the materials needed(shoal shell and salt) are in the cave...but the tide will cover the all shoal shells so after collected all the salt the shell must be wait until the tide faded and vice versa....depends on luck for the fade of tide....
