Step 1) You need to have 2 Firereds, Leafgreens, or a combination of the 2. You will also need 2 Gameboys/DS'.
Step 2) If you haven't alread started a profile on both, start on and pick 2 different starters. (Example, on game 1 you have Charmander and game 2 you have Bulbasaur)
Step 3) Trade one Starter to the other game. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ANOTHER POKEMON TO TRADE. (Send the Starter in game 2 to game 1)
Step 4) Restart the game on game 2. (The one you got a non-starter traded to)
Step 5) Repeat the process to get all 3 starters!
