Type testingcheatsenabled true into the cheat box.
"Go to the lifetime rewards tab, then control click in the area around the treasure chest icon. The game should be speed 1 to do this, or it may appear to not be working. Each click will give your Sim an additional 500 lifetime happiness points."
I tried it, it DOESN'T work.
You need to type 'testingcheatsenabled true' on the title screen, and then it should work
The cheat is "testingCheatsenabled true" But you have to enter that cheat when you are in the main menu. Then you get into a family and click around the treasure chest icon. It should work then.

may i add, when i do it its suppose to be testingcheatsenabled true
the spelling is very important. so make sure that the t in testing is not capatalized. then it will work, i use this cheat all the time. You will need to retype this code for each diffrent family you use it on and you play that family again
shift + ctrl+ c then you type in testingcheatsenabled true.
you can then do what you are looking to do, you can also hold down shift and click on the home mailbox (even if your on vacation click on your hotels adventure board) and you can make all sims happy, make them stay happy by static, force friends/vistors and much more. hope this helps!
Complete goals or make sure that your moodlet meter is at a level where it will start rewarding you points by the second.
