give your sixth Pokemon a hyper potion then go to mout pyre and talk to the old man at the top then fly to little root town talk to your mom leave you house and in your sixth party spot you should have a groudon lvl 45 with a hyper potion

Actually its the main legendary Pokemon so you get it after playing the game a while.

Well, I've never heard of that one but the WA i got one was in the cave in Sootipoolis City there is a master ball near the tall ladder deeper inside the cave save your game before you go up to groudon just in case you want to try something other than the master ball and catch it with that. Of course, You could try catching it with an ultra ball because i caught regirock regirice and registeel with ultra balls. you have to have Sean him at the cave at the seafloor cavern then go to sootopolis city go to that cave in sootopolis and go find groudon at :Lv45 and then you can fight sootopolis city's gym

To get Groudon on Pokemon Ruby version, you must complete certain elements of the plot. Receive the Red Orb from the top of Mt. Pyre and foil Team Magma's plan of capturing Groudon after they steal the submarine (you will know if the time is right when the sun is uncontrollably bright). After you have done this, travel to Sootopolis City and surf across the way and follow the path to the Cave of Origin. There you should meet Steven and Wallace, the local Gym Leader. They will tell you to travel to the depths of the cave to calm Groudon. That is when you are able to catch Groudon.

Note: You only have one chance to capture Groudon

Not necessary to catch it with a master ball...I would suggest you to take 30-40 timer balls and 30-40 ordinary poke-balls..Take a scyther or any other Pokemon that knows false swipe and any Pokemon that can paralyze groudon.ALWAYS SAVE THE GAME BEFORE THE BATTLE.Get Groudon's hp to 1 using false swipe and then paralyze it..Then keep throwing poke-balls until your team has 1-2 Pokemon left or groudon's moveset is about to finish..Then start throwing in timer balls... You should get it easily..If not,switch the gba off and do this again..Hope this helps..;) you go to sea floor cavern you beat maxie in a pokemon battle his orb starts glowing and groudon awakens! groudon heads over to sootopolis city but the sun is shining brighter than usual so you have to hurry! so head to sootopolis fly if you have already been there or walk if you have never been there if you had to walk there should white rocks in the ocean when you get to the white rocks find a huge dive point and use dive then go in the cave to sootopolis once you get there go to the left and go find steven and wallace they will take you to the cave of origin you will need a few repels and hm 5 flash you go deep in the cave and find groudon once you get to groudon go up to his little lava lake and he will approach you you will get in a battle against groudon it is a lv 45 ground type use a master ball or bust down his hp with water and grass moves then weaken him down with rock moves then make sure you got a stack of ultra balls because here comes the hard part groudon is a legendary pokemon so he is gonna be a pain in the butt to catch but if you have at least 60 to 80 ultra balls you will be totally fine i promise. you

can catch it at the cave of origin in sootopolis city after you battle maxie the team magma leader in the seafloor cavern. Then you need to get his health down really low and throw a ultraball at it. Hope it goes in and stays if not try again.

P.S. Don't use a masterball save that for latios or latias.

P.P.S. Save in front of him so then if you don't catch him you could re battle him or if your lucky find a shiny groundon.

You could use sleep type moves to help you. You beat team Magma and they will take either a red or blue stone and you take the other. then go to sootopolis and talk to steve. he will tell you to go in the cave. you go in the cave and find your way through till you get to groundon. Be Careful if you want to catch him bring a lot of ultra balls..
