YOU are ALL wrong!! You can't catch a lotad in the hoenn region and you CAN catch a zangoose by lanette's house!!!
ur all wrong... it depends on which game you're playing. lotad isn't catchable in ruby, but in sapphire and emerald, it is! you can catch zangoose at lanette's house, indeed, but only if you play ruby (if i'm right..).

I don't really think you can. The thing is, in Sapphire you can catch Lotad but not Seedot and in Ruby you can catch Seedot but not Lotad. However in Emerald, you can catch both. So You'd have to trade from a Sapphire or Emerald. Lotad can be found on route 114 on Pokemon RUBY!
