YOU are ALL wrong!! You can't catch a lotad in the hoenn region and you CAN catch a zangoose by lanette's house!!!
ur all wrong... it depends on which game you're playing. lotad isn't catchable in ruby, but in sapphire and emerald, it is! you can catch zangoose at lanette's house, indeed, but only if you play ruby (if i'm right..).

not 100% sure on what you mean but if you mean how to get for example Lotad in Pokemon Ruby which has Seedot. Lets say you want a Lotad. Go to the Oldale Town and go to the small Grass area next to the water just west of the city. If you wanna catch a Lotad, you gotta be very patient.
