How do you beat mysterious mountainside in super Mario 64 ds?

Go to Tall,Tall Mountain,and walk behind you for a shortcut or use Hoot the Owl,if you use Hoot the owl,land near the little cloud and land on the stone floor. Pass the cloud and jump on the wall guarded by the three coins. This is the mysterious mountianslide. Try not to fall off or you will lose a life. there is a part in the slide where theres a skull in front of you. At that point,there will be some arrows telling you to move right. If you finish,you be back in Tall,Tall Monutian but this time, its in a cage with a star in it. Grab the star and you'll win. Using the shortcut is actually harder than using the owl but the wall is still in the same place. The shortcut is just previous stuff you did for the other stars but the mushrooms and 3 goombas are skipped.
