There is a download in which you can get 64 player size maps. Here's the link. http://www.fileplanet.com/156004/download/Battlefield-2---Single-Player-64-Maps-Mod There are also websites, forums etc in which "hackers" have found ways in which you can get 64 player size maps. It is tricky though and it's probably a better idea if you download them but if you can't download you can try that.
If you mean the orignal battlefield game (Battlefield 1942), then no, you do not, it is a standalone game.

March 2.
Battlefield 2: You can command squads request artillary, request vehicle drop, request supplies, and other tings. You can also choose various kits, drive or pilot various things from ATV to tank to helicopter to a jet. You can also aim down an iron sight or red-dot scope, with the ability to also go prone. Counter Strike: Less weapon choices, can open doors (which I find it to be a major flaw in Battlefield 2), more map choices, and if you have the right programs, you can also make your own maps from assault to cs to aim. If you like head-on warfare, Battlefield is best for you. If you enjoy strategy and teamwork, you will love Counter-Strike. ---- It is up to you. If you think battlefield is better that is better for you.
yes
No the maps are to big
22 maps in the new version Battlefield 3 Premium.
we tati it finished
It is just new maps with new objectives, generally good maps though.
You can download modified maps (I recommend not to) or update to the newest version. But I updated and there were no new maps. To download patches (updates) go to Battlefield 1942 site. For player made maps just search Battlefield 1942 player maps. Hope this is helpful!

Yes, the vip maps are only on multiplayer.
Battlefield 3 Premium includes everything that the regular edition comes with and some expansions. The expansions are Back to Karkand, Close Quarters, Armored Kill, Aftermath, and End Game. These expansions include weapons, assignments, maps, dog tags, etc. This was copied from my previous answer to the same answer for a similar question.
So far, Battlefield Premium has no maps that are exclusive to it. The newest DLC, Close Quarters, can be found on the ingame store (For PC, it is on Battlelog.com). To access the maps, just join a game that include the maps in the map rotation of the server.
From what I found there are 20 maps that come with Battlefield 3 Premium. I am not completely sure if the default maps are included in those 20 though. They might have more than from when I last checked though.
