Burnout paradise is a game focused more on free roam than anything else. Blur is more focused on the races. I personally think the multiplayer on blur is better than on burnout paradise, because you can level up and get new things, but burnout paradise has good multiplayer too.

You also get a new car when you upgrade your license you can also buy all the cars you can unlock for free in the game for about ten dollars in the in game if you are to impatient to unlock them all on your own. Its very different, and has many more things to do, like find shortcuts, drive throughs, and to unlock new cars you must find them in the city and shut them down, so all in all, it is a good game, and there are good multiplayer challenges, events and DLC.
