Having Pokemon in your team that can utilize moves that are strong against each of the Elite Fours Pokemon is the easiest method to being a Champion.

#1 Lorelei the first of the Elite Four specializes in Ice type Pokemon but also has Water type Pokemon as well. For this battle you should utilize Electric type Pokemon or any Pokemon with Electric type moves. When Lorelei sends out Jynx ensure you use a Rock type move to easily finish it off.

#2 Bruno the second of the Elite Four specializes in Fighting type Pokemon and also has two Onix. For this battle begin with a Water type Pokemon or any Pokemon with Water type moves to take out Onix then when he begins sending out his Fighting type Pokemon you should switch out to a Flying or Psychic type Pokemon.

#3 Agatha the third of the Elite Four specializes in Ghost and Poison type Pokemon. For this battle you should only use a Psychic type Pokemon or a Pokemon with Psychic type moves.

#4 Lance the final member of the Elite Four specializes in Dragon type Pokemon but also has an Aerodactyl and Gyarados. For this battle begin with an Electric type Pokemon to easily finish his Gyarados. Afterwards he should begin sending out his Dragon type Pokemon which would be the time to shift to an Ice type Pokemon. Finish off his Dragon's with Ice type moves then he should send out Aerodactyl and you can easily finish it with a Water type Pokemon.

#5 Blue/Rival is the Champion of the Elite Four and has no specialty in Pokemon. For this battle you will need to pay close attention to what Pokemon he will send out so ensure that the Battle Style in Options is set to Shift. Blue/Rival has a different set of Pokemon depending on which starter Pokemon you chose. Below is a list of all the Pokemon Blue/Rival can have.

If Player chose Bulbasaur: Pidgeot, Alakazam, Rhydon, Gyarados, Charizard.
If Player chose Charmander: Pidgeot, Alakazam, Rhydon, Arcanine, Exeggutor, Blastoise.
If Player chose Squirtle: Pidgeot, Alakazam, Rhydon, Gyarados, Arcanine, Venasaur.

Now then for the strategy. This will be broken up based on which starter Pokemon you chose. Keep in mind that Blue/Rival regardless of what starter Pokemon you chose always starts with Pidgeot.

If Bulbasaur: Blue/Rival begins the battle with Pidgeot which is a Flying type Pokemon and you should begin with an Electric type to finish it off. Afterwards Blue/Rival will most likely send out Rhydon in response to the Electric type, shift to a Water type and finish Rhydon. After this Blue/Rival will choose Exeggutor or Gyarados and if its Exeggutor shift to a Fire or Flying type Pokemon. If it's Gyarados shift to an Electric type Pokemon. If you finished Exeggutor Blue/Rival will respond next with Charizard or Alakazam. If it's Alakazam utilizing a Dark type Pokemon or a Pokemon that knows Dark type Moves are good options. If it's Charizard use a Water type Pokemon. This strategy will end the battle easily just ensure healing items are prepared. This ends the strategy.

If Charmander: Begin with an Electric type for Pidgeot, in response Exeggutor or Rhydon will be next. Use a Flying type or Fire type for Exeggutor and use Water for Rhydon. In response to Exeggutor either Alakazam, Arcanine, or Blastoise will be next. If Alakazam use a Dark type Pokemon or Dark Type Moves, if Arcanine use Water, if Blastoise use Electric. This ends the strategy.

If Squirtle: Begin with an Electric type for Pidgeot, in response either Rhydon or Venusaur is next. If Rhydon use Water and if Venusaur use Fire, Flying, or Psychic. If it was Rhydon next up is Gyarados so use Electric. If it's Venusaur next will be Arcanine or Alakazam. For Arcanine use Water and for Alakazam use Dark. This ends the strategy.
