How can you catch suicune in crystal version?

*IMPORTANT* You only have one chance to catch suicune in crystal so i recommend saving right before you battle him. Which is after you fight the bald trio in the tower.

*DIRECTIONS*

First get a Pokemon that can put suicune to sleep. Me, i caught a bellsprout in the beginning of the game, and when i fought suicune, my victreebell was Lv. 36 with the moves, poison powder, sleep powder, cut, and vine whip. Other Pokemon that can make suicune sleep are drowzee(hypnosis), butterfree(Sleep powder), Gloom(Sleep powder) and other bugs or psychic types that learn hypnosis or sleep powder.

Now, get a Pokemon that knows sand attack, and that has a decent defense. I recommend Eevee. You get it from bill in golden rod, his house is somewhere south of the radio tower.

Then, make sure you have that red gyarados that you caught at lake rage, because you HAVE TO HAVE dragon rage.

Get about 30 - 35 ultra balls just incase, and have at least 5 revives just incase.

Now that you have these three Pokemon, you are ready to fight suicune. SAVE IT BEFORE THE TOWER.

There are three main things to remember about catching legendaries. I call it ARS.

Accuracy, Red (red hp for the Pokemon), and sleeping, which is putting them to sleep.

So start with Eevee, when you start the fight, hit him with sand-attack 6 times, which is the max amount of his accuracy lowering. if he kills you before that, send out a different Pokemon to take a few hits while you revive your Eevee and restore its hp. Just make sure you hit the suicune with 6 sand attacks.

Then bring out your red gyarados, this thing is beastly even if it is still Lv. 30, because gust wont do shiet on it, and neither will bubblebeam, which are the two attacks suicune will hit you with. Hit suicune with three dragon rages, which will put it in reds, and don't worry it will not faint, it always has around 142 hp to start with.

Switch out to your sleeper, which for me it was my victreebell. Hit it with a sleep powder, and start chucking ultra balls, for me it woke up once, missed me with a gust, and then i used sleep powder again! OH!!! AND IF IT DOESN'T AFFECT IT, KEEP TRYING!! IT WILL BY THE 3RD TRY, and even if it takes that long suicune will be missing you so badly because of the maxed out bad accuracy from you sand attacks. So yeah, after you put him to sleep again, keep chucking some more ultra balls, (Which you buy in blackthorne city.)
