What kind of graphics card do you have? If it's any kind of Intel card, or a mobility Intel chipset for a laptop, Dolphin doesn't support it because it's not powerful enough. Before buying another computer, you could try and reinstall all your drivers though.

Some of the Intel GMA integrated chipsets support it, but it's emulated and as such will run MUCH more slowly.
